The show’s feature performers are internationally acclaimed Guillermo Salvat and Silvia Grynt, with special guest numbers by Seattle Tango professionals. This show has two fantastic and totally different singers, musicians Ben Thomas and Ludmilla and tango rapper Momo Smitt. The spectacular performances of dancing and music combined with fine dining before the show, and social dancing after the show will create a truly unique evening of elegance..</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><b>Guillermo Salvat and Silvia Grynt</b> have performed around the world and have stared in several of<span style=""> </span>Buenos Aires most popular shows.<span style=""> </span>They have taught Tango throughout the US and Europe, but this will be their first time in Seattle. Tango Dancers will love their workshops and everyone will love the Cabaret. The inspired dancing of Guillermo and silvia will explore all the passion, playfulness and richness of Argentine Tango.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Momo Smitt is a rapper from Ashland Oregon who loves Argentine Tango. He describes his music as socially conscious hip hop based in recovery, personal growth, politics, equality, and the environment.<span style=""> </span>He is a truly unique performer whose music will surprise and inspire the audience. Ben and Ludmilla truly capture the spirit of traditional Argentine tango.<br /></p> <p class="MsoNormal">The rest of the cast includes dance instructors Michelle Badion, Wladimir Pino, Alison Cockrill Erica Atnip, Vivian Konstantakos , Brian Halbert, Sara Thomsen and some surprises. </p> <p class="MsoNormal">The hosts for the evening will be Ernesto and Momo. They will have fun debating the merits of tradition tango verses the Nuevo tango.<span style=""> </span>Each number expresses tango in a different way, from the most traditional to the most modern, —exploring its passion, glamour, fantasy, romance, drama and humor, mesmerizing audiences once again with the intricacies, power and beauty of Argentine Tango. After the show on Friday, the evening continues with Argentine tango social dancing. On Saturday, the show is followed by a lively salsa dance.
